Why does my business need your services?


More and more business owners are beginning to realize the bottom-line benefits of professional design, even if the return on your investment isn’t immediate. It is important for any company to project a consistent, professional image that communicates the right message to its target audience. Your brand must inspire confidence and trust in your audience. Your company’s logo, website, marketing materials, etc. all project the image of your company and help establish your company’s identity. The design of these things should not be left in the hands of an amateur. Flury Design offers the quality of a larger design firm, yet delivers solutions quickly and at a relatively lower cost. We pride ourselves on our style, creativity, reliability, speed, and attention to detail. We will also give you the personal attention and service you deserve.

 

How much do you charge?

 

The cost to the client depends on several factors, including time, whether I need to take photographs, the number of client revisions and the client’s budget. Most small firms charge $75 to $150 per hour. Generally, I charge $50 per hour. There are also extra costs for certain projects, including but not limited to, the purchasing of stock photography, web hosting, domain name registration, merchant accounts (for eCommerce websites), and the cost of printing.
On average I expect to spend upwards of 40-50 hours to design and build a standard website. This includes research, planning, meeting with the client, coming up with new ideas, narrowing down what ideas work, possibly shooting photographs, aiding in content organization, making design revisions, coding the site, etc. Thus a typical website may cost around $2,500. To design a corporate identity system, I may spend 35-45 hours. An average corporate identity system costs about $2,000. These are only general estimates. How long does it take to create a website, logo, etc.?


The amount of time it takes to complete a project varies depending on our current workload, your schedule, my schedule, the number of revisions, etc. The design process generally takes place over the course of several weeks or possibly months. Typically I meet with our clients and conduct an interview to determine the overall goals, message, and target audience. I will then conduct research and come up with ideas which will then be presented to the client over the course of several more meetings (or via email) to gain feedback and make revisions until we reach the desired result.
